Not a bad idea tbh. retains the main essence, while it makes the K more legible.
Maybe one more tooth on the gear would be nice…
K with the Gear is the KDE community’s logo. Plasma logo has a > , as in the kickoff icon

The KDE logo has always been
. It is simply perfect as it is.
Now, if you want to contribute by designing icons, you can contribute to the Breeze theme.

SAMTIME called it “The Semicolon Logo”… Love that 
As far as all the DE’s out there, KDE and Plasma have the best logos… IMHO
Neither needs to be changed.

Yes. If I really had to comment, I’d say some corners could be “softened” to make it look more appealing…
