What does "Online-Zugänge einrichten" (cloud access) does?

Hello,

in recent KDE, there is a systemsettings option “Online-Zugänge einrchten” (Setup online access). I set it up for my nextcloud successfully, but I see no effect.

I checked to enable contacts, but there is no akonadi ressource created, nor does the systray icon Contacts show anything.

Same for storage, what does it do?

Normally, there should be your contacts in the system tray…

Ok, I assume or the contacts part it just creates an Akonadi WebDAV / CalDAV ressource. I was able to do that manually.

For the storage part, I got no idea, what it possible does.

Are their any other benefits of using that setup method?
