I took footage from Security cameras and put them on the timeline. All of them had to be Transcoded. Now when I render, it gets stuck. I have had my Desktop Computer running non-stop for 3 days now
Maybe a weird question but have you checked if there is enough free space on your destination drive?
Yes, there is plenty of room on the drive, it is about 1/4 full. My GPU is 8gb, and that is what I am rendering it with
Then that will not be the problem here. I’m sorry but for now that’s all I could think of.
Hi, and welcome to the forum and community.
If it’s still running I suggest you close Kdenlive. It’s not gonna finish - something is wrong.
Unless you are using effects with keyframes you may want to ignore the transcode suggestion and try to render it regardless.
Another thing to test is to look at the section where rendering got stuck. Change the timeline time code display to frames, seek to the frame indicated in the render progress (33930), and check what’s happening there (a cut, an effect, a transition). Create a timeline zone starting a few seconds before and ending a few after, and then render just that zone.
