Hi, and welcome to the forum and community.
There is a small horizontal scrollbar in the effect/composition stack widget in the bottom right-hand corner of your layout. Either use that to scroll within the widget so that you can use the drop-down menu, or grab the edge between the effect widget and the timeline and drag it so that the scrollbar disappears.
