Apologies if this is caused by my code rather than kdevelop, but why does kdevelop not allow input into the embedded run terminal?
I can’t select the terminal in order to type.
that is not exactly a terminal, it’s just an output panel where build logs are printed. if you’d like to use the embedded terminal click on the “Terminal” button on the bottom left and a konsole-like embedded terminal should pops up

But it doesn’t solely print debug logs – it also prints the program’s output.
