Why "GNOME Application Platform version 46"?

I used yum list installed | grep -Pi '(gnome|lxde|xfce)' because I had Gnome first, but now I use KDE. I did dnf swap @gnome-desktop @kde-desktop long time ago already.
But if I update my system, I still see Gnome parts being updated. So therefor I used the first command and removed the few packages left, where there wasn’t a Gnome application depending on. So now I only have a Gnome Icon Theme for Audacious.

Is “GNOME Application Platform version 46” just there for that? It’s 330 MB!

This is used by flatpak applications that need GNOME libraries
