Why is the maximize button right-clickable?

I’ve noticed that right-clicking works on the maximize button, and only that button.
Why it’s right-clickable? And why only that button?

Because you can maximize a window in different ways, vertically, horizontally or both (aka maximize). The behavior can be configured in System settings > Window behavior > Title bar actions, there you can change what left, middle and right click does in that button.

But you can’t close or minimize a window in different ways

For a moment it looked like Right-clicking maximize on Haruna resized the video to its true size because it removed the black bars on the sides, but then I realized it was a 1080p video and I’m using a 4K screen.

I wonder if Haruna can be configured to do what I thought it was doing when right-clicking the maximize button.
