Hi!
I’m trying to disable the transparency on the Zen Browser on Plasma 6 Wayland. I am using the default translucency option on the “Desktop Effects”
I’ve tried everything on the window class, detecting the window properties, typing Zen, “Zen Browser” etc.
Tried also with other windows, like Steam or Dolphin, and nothing works.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you in advance for any help.
hi, welcome.
i suspect the desktop effect it taking priority of any rules you have set up.
adjust the Inactive Windows slider to opaque and then use the individual rules to set the transparency you want.
otherwise desktop effects will only show the active window as solid.
i only use it for moving windows.
It’s a bit hard to tell which opacity are you trying to change but from what I can tell it’s the Inactive Windows in the first screenshot, it’ll always take priority over window rules.
Disablind the global effect and changing the rule window by window worked. Ty for the answers.
