Go easy on me, I’m fairly new with Linux. I have windows that keep freezing unpredictably when I open a different application. I haven’t been able to figure much of anything out, as the windows still function completely normally, Spotify will still play or Discord will still send notifications, but I can’t interact with the window in any way, keybinds don’t even work. I’m not sure if this is tied to it but it mostly seems to happen when I am in a full screen application. I can’t fix it by closing the application that’s frozen and opening it again but this is not a good solution. Please let me know what information could be useful for fixing this bug. Thanks.
What OS?
What version of KDE?
Can you provide steps to replicate and what window(s) or applications are freezing?
Also provide sys info.

I’m wondering if it is tied to my graphics card. I’m on an NVIDIA card, gtx 980 I believe, however drivers for an aged card are few and far between.
Alright, something is fundamentally broken, I can’t even run systemctl commands anymore. The desktop still works great apart from the funky UI issues. I’m going to re install the OS and switch to KDE Neon as that’s what I have my brother on. This should fix the issues as they definitely showed up after I did the initial install. Thanks guys for the support.
