Hello, First time here.
I just installed Fedora and Im having a problem with tha transparency of the windows.
At start the transparency works as I configure it (background windows transparent) but if I maxmize one of them and then go to other ( from brave to dolphin for exmaple) the one in front stays transparent and the one on the background is completely opaque
This is how it starts.
This is how its now
looks like the translucency effect for inactive windows got its opacity state flipped after maximize.
id try System Settings → Desktop Effects → Translucency
-slide Inactive Windows back to 100% (or turn the effect off)
-log out once if it stays wrong
that maximize + focus switch combo can leave the active window see-through and the background one solid. window rules per app are usually less flaky if u still want see-through after.
Hi it kept doing as I told, so I tried the windows rules and it works almost ok except for une thing:
Now I have that box on the midle of the desktop
That rectangle may be a window caught by an overly broad rule. In System Settings → Window Management → Window Rules, disable the new rule and see whether it disappears. If it does, set Window class to Exact Match for the intended app only, then add the opacity setting back.
