while starting wireguard via config file I can use postup and postdown commands like
# deactivate IPv6 on start of tunnel
PostUp = sysctl -w net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6=1
PostUp = sysctl -w net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6=1
# reactivate IPv6 on stop of tunnel
PostDown = sysctl -w net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6=0
PostDown = sysctl -w net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6=0
but as far as I found networkmanager does not support this. Is there a chance this can be planned to be implemented?
You will more luck by reaching out the NetworkManager developers then asking here I expect.

Well, I don’t even know if it is just not in the KDE UI or if networkmanager can’t handle it at all.
But you said
So I took you at your word.

So I need to rephrase:
In the KDE network interface I see no option to set postup options for wireguard.
It is not known to me if this is just not shown in the GUI or not implemented in the software behind it.
So currently I need to spin up the wireguard VPN via command line `wg-quick …`. It would be nice if the KDE GUI would offer the same features.
