Hello, my ASUS ROG Azoth keyboard’s 2.4Ghz USB dongle has recently stopped working… sometimes.
I am able to type my LUKS passphrase but the device does not work on the login screen. Reconnecting the USB dongle to another port sometimes gets the device to work. I have confirmed that the wireless functionality does work with the same USB port with a dual-booted Windows. Connecting the keyboard with a USB cable works ok. The USB device’s (dongle) serial number has “invalid” characters at the end when the dongle does not work. The invalid characters are not there when the dongle works.
It seems other people are also experiencing this issue on Reddit with other distributions. I can provide a log but it looks like I can’t paste it here due to a character limit.
