As I am a beginner, I tried to find my way by reading the documentation. Digikam is a great software, but as a noob, I would like to make it easier to use.

the same line explain to save files in TIFF format for archive purpose, but previously I read that DNG is the advised format for portability. I think TIFF is not the right format, but please make this paragraph homogeneous with the rest of the documentation as this does not help beginners as me.

finally I exported a RAW file in DNG and tried to process it to achieve a result similar with RAW and DNG. I didn’t succeed with Ansel nor Luminar. So I still consider RAW as the most naive/native format for archive.
