Yakuake, Wayland 12 debian bookwork

Just installed my computer today, installed yakuake.

F12 works, however, some stuff that doesnt seem to work is when i select some text and left click, it does not copy the selection, i have to ctrl+shift+c to copy. Im quite sure it was easier to copy on the terminal.

ctrl+tab does not switch between the tabs in yakuake.

Installed via discovery.

Hi! Are you looking for the kind of function where highlighting text also copies it to the clipboard? If so, do you have that function enabled in the system’s clipboard settings? That could be checked by opening your Clipboard widget from the system tray, choosing the settings icon in that widget for “Configure”, and checking the “Selection and Clipboard” setting below:

(Turned off on mine as I don’t personally use that feature, but you might want that checked)

I have that widget disabled. But i recall that select and once left click copied it to clipboard before ( on another install)

If I’m reading that correctly, it might be worth heading into that widget’s settings - at least temporarily - to double-check that setting on your current installation?

It was off in the clipboard settings

Enabled the clipboard widget and checked that setting, still doesnt copy on selection for me.

You need the selection ticked as well. Always save in history.

Its selected afaik

Dunno what distro you’re running but I just installed it to check and everything works just fine. Except for that shortcut of yours. It’s not registered in yakuake’s shortcuts.

Edit: so, you’re on bookwork. Same here. Except for waywayland.
