How to have a video wallpaper on Plasma 6?

You can use animated image formats. But of course depending on your hardware the performance is abysmal.

@Schlaefer, does anyone know how to ascertain which animated file formats plasmashell or the add-ons supports? I ask because GIF has some serious constraints which introduce colour banding, ^[1] et cetera. ^[2]

I ask because I’d love the undermentioned as a wallpaper:
