So it’s been some months since someone requested a port of Smart Video Wallpaper plugin for plasma 6 and I said would give it a shot…
Well fast forward to today I have done a lot more than that and is finally in a state I feel is good enough to share and get some feedback 
Key Features

Play one or multiple videos with or without audio

Save as much power as possible by detecting Windows activity, Battery, Locked/0ff screen, and even Desktop Effects! (e.g overview, cube, show desktop) and pausing/resuming accordingly

QML only (at least for now, I am a C++ novice)

Lock screen mode so no need for separate plugin for that

Nice transition between videos (Beta please report if it causes playback issues)
Some important notes
Beware that there’s been some problems with crashes on AMD gpus, if so kindly check the readme section on how to recover from that before trying this wallpaper plugin.
Also make sure you have Hardware video acceleration working to reduce the performance impact when videos are playing
