Nvidia 470 drivers here. I’m getting a warning in system monitor relating to “desktop hardware acceleration not enabled”. System tray applet icons are being wiped clean with mouse passing over them, also menu icons.
Can you tell me how to clear possible caches in Plasma 6 to get this feature back? Is there a way to ‘purge the desktop environment fresh’?
I have created a new ~/.cache directory.

Another observation is that systray applets and pinned places do ‘repopulate’ but very randomly and not completely always (switch workspace) everything is back correctly’. Is there a timer or something for this refresh?
In menu which is set to ‘Application Menu’ (right click > show alternatives > Application Menu, icons on left side strip never repopulate and are all clustered together at top left of context window.
