Currently I am looking how to restore a specific file in Kup and I do not find anything on internet (probably too much noise on search / bad search terms). Is there any way to do so?
My preferred way would be like requested on a brainstorm thread and if there is a command line method, I could build it by my own. If not, I am happy with anything else that works.
I used the versioned backup method if that matters.

I have not tested it, but dev version of kup should have needed capabilities to restore files from file managers.
Cool, thanks. And I also realized why I could not restore it on the common way. On system settings and backup page I clicked the restore button which opened a specific file manager. I thought it is already the backup I am looking at, but it did not restore anything and just gave errors. At some point I realized I have to chose the backup folder to load the actual backup file manager and so I could restore what I was looking for.
So I was expecting the backup system automatically chose the backup, which was not the case. Something that could be improved in my opinion. But at least it works.
This could be made more clear in the docs. I fell into the same trap.
