Moin, my system is set to Europe/Berlin as the time zone. So far, so good. Most of the time the screensaver (only there) shows the correct time (or rather, the hour in the correct time zone, i.e., CET and now CEST), but sometimes it shows UTC/GMT. This has been going on for several months now. Where can I look for the cause?
Try checking both the system clock and the screensaver settings. As sometimes the screensaver shows UTC because its own time zone settings are not synchronized with the system.
