Switch from CPU rendering to GPU rendering under Linux

I use Kdenlive in between to cut and render video files.
Unfortunately, the renderings usually take double or triple the time compared to DaVinci Resolve under Windows. After a look in btop I could see that the CPU was heavily utilized during rendering, so I assume that the CPU is used for rendering.

I would like to know if and where I can set the rendering to run on the GPU

About my system:

  • OS: CachyOS (Arch based)
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-13500
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060

This forum can be searched, and the GPU rendering topic is well traveled …
