Transition previews are not generated.

I have this problem: I download transition packs, but their previews aren’t generated. It says “Failed to generate transition previews. Check the application logs for details.”
I download them directly in KDEnlive using AmneziaVPN (via Finland or Poland), since I’m from Russia, although I can access the KDE Store website without a VPN.
Windows 10 Home SL (RU) 22H2 64Bit.

What version of Kdenlive are you using? (please remember to always specify this when asking for help)

This was a bug in the first preview of 26.04, but was fixed for release. I mentioned it in this thread:

Which version are you running?

My version is 26.04.2

I have 26.04.2. What to do?

This was a bug in the first preview of 26.04, but was fixed for release. I mentioned it in this thread:

According to this the preview generation for user-installed lumas doesn’t work.

Let me check whether this is indeed the case and what can be done about it to enable it.

Here’s the screen:

I also filmed a video, but I can’t insert a link to it because it says:

An error occurred: Sorry, you can’t include links in your posts.

The problem still persists! What should I do?

Can you click on that red banner. I remember a pop-up appears where you see the log. Paste the content of the log here.

The error message disappeared after installing the latest version of Python, 3.14. However, the downloaded transitions are still not visible in the transition list. How can I fix this?

I don’t think you can unless you can look at the code and change it so that it reads additionally installed luma files.

As I said in a post before, it looks like the preview (re-) rendering does not extend to individual luma files. Please be patient, we are a small team. Thanks!
