toyed around a bit with Krita’s “color to alpha” to get a RGBA picture. It’s far from perfect but to get an impression to how a colour “aware” version works out…

Here’s when you set the colour in plasma’s change background dialog to: #55557f

The Google drive link is broken, perhaps OP has taken it down? That’s unfortunate. This one is my favorite.

I managed to download one (the light variant) before it’s taken down. I reupload it here for others to use. It would be a waste for a wallpaper of this quality to disappear.

(By the rule of the contest, submissions are licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0, so I think it’s fine for me to distribute it.)

I managed to download all versions from gdrive before the gdrive links died.

I uploaded it here: https://files.catbox.moe/aefqa4.zip (if the page doesn’t work, you need to change your DNS)

I think kde planned to release a wallpaper pack anyway though, in which those would surely be included

Edit: I just realised they’re not all versions. Those that I named v1 are these and those I named final are these

(You really should not have deleted the original submission though, that was a pretty bad move. Please keep that in mind for your future participation in similar contests.)

Hi! This step was not entirely purposeful, as I cleared my Google drive of unnecessary material. I must have also accidentally deleted the illustrations. And since you wrote here that the links don’t work, on the same day I realized that I had deleted the illustrations. Well, I decided that I would no longer store it on Google drive) and decided to upload it all to the Inkscape website. Now I’m going to publish some of my work there.
