The only real problem for me, as already mentioned, is the editor for split entries.
Up until version 5.1.3, I could enter data “blindly” using the Tab and Enter keys.
Zack, Zack, Zack… and the transaction was completed in seconds.
Well… with the new “system,” it feels like it takes me 5 minutes to make a single booking,

Have you tried to personalize the tab order of the split editor?

This feature was broken, but has been restaured in November 2025, see How can I edit the transaction split editor tab order?

The way to personalize the tab order is as

There is feature called TabOrderEditor to rearrange the way the focus takes when pressing TAB. To open it, press Alt-Ctrl-T (from 5.2.1 on this will be Alt+Meta-T by default because on KF6 Alt-Ctrl-T opens a terminal).
